JULY 2025

Two big project will be 'on air' this week as our work with Sylver Entertainment and Whisper will be broadcast.

BBC RADIO 4 WITH STEVE & DAMON HILL

July 2nd.

A big day for RPM as Steve Rider is scheduled to appear on BBC Radio 4's

'The Media Show' to discuss the power of archive material, plus the company's activities and future plans.

1996 F1 World Champion Damon Hill will also contribute to the discussion, as his extraordinary new documentary 'Hill' is set to premier on Sky Documentaries.

This critically-acclaimed feature-length film includes archive materials researched by RPM, and also incorporates vintage ITV-sourced materials which are available for registered members to view in full on the RPM hub. And watch out for RPM-owned materials from Damon’s British F3 days – including early on-board camera angles, recorded during the late-1980s – making an appearance on RPM’s newly-launching social media channels. You won’t see these in his official life story!

NEVER BEFORE SEEN COLOUR FOOTGE OF SILVERSTONE 1950 TO APPEAR ON CHANNEL 4.

July 6th

The date of the British GP is also a big one for RPM. Thanks to our friends at the Revs Institute in Florida, we have uncovered original - and previously unseen - colour film of the 1950 Grand Prix d'Europe at Silverstone. The first ever F1 World Championship event.

This will be featured by Whisper and Channel 4 during their build up show to the British GP as 13 x Grand Prix winner David Coulthard drives the original Alfa 158 to mark the 75th anniversary of it's historic win and the birth of the F1 World Championship.

This original colour film and never been shown on television.
