At the Motorsport UK ‘Night of Champions’ at Pall Mall in January 2024, Steve Rider (Director of Racing Past Media) was presented with the 'Murray Walker Award' for services to Motor Sport Broadcasting.

David Richards CBE, chair of MotorSport UK made the presentation in recognition of a television career that has spanned of 45 years.
