RACING PAST MEDIA PURCHASES 'FORMULA ONE FILMS'

Ahead of the January launch of the Racing Past Media pre-1980 Formula One archive, RPM has completed the purchase of 'Formula One Films'.
The company spearheaded by journalist and broadcaster Andrew Marriott and featuring the work of Director John Mills produced some hugely significant content through the 1970s.
This included the only coverage of the 1976 British Grand Prix which was one of the key races in the epic Hunt-Lauda season.
The archive also features the 1978 Race of Giants which brought together the legendary names from the first thirty years of Formula One for a thrilling race around the streets of Macau.
This material, and much more, is now available via RPM, helping complete the historical background of Formula One.
