December 2024.
Working closely with Racing Past Media, British Racing Motors have now secured the release of its highly valued film archive from long-term storage.

The protracted negotiations have delayed the release of some 86,000 feet of film that tells the most comprehensive story of the early years of Formula One through the experiences of the team that took Graham Hill to the World Championship in 1962.

With the help of Iron Mountain Film Services, the film will be cleaned and digitised using the latest technology to bring the stunning pictures to life like never before. The footage will then be made available via the RPM website.

The fresh conversion of this material, much of it unseen, is one of the most exciting elements of the Racing Past Media F1 anniversary archive project.
